[EN] Since 2018, I have been trying to help a young man who had to flee his home country because of his sexual orientation to survive, first here in the Netherlands, and then, after he was sent back, also in his native country. According to the court it was safe for LGBT people in that country. That was the theory on paper. In practice... Jumber is now dead. The inhuman judgment took away his hope and ultimately his life. I don't want him to be forgotten.

[NL] Sinds 2018 heb ik geprobeerd een jongeman die om zijn geaardheid zijn thuisland moest ontvluchten te helpen te overleven, eerst hier in Nederland, en daarna, nadat hij op schandalige wijze werd uitgeprocedeerd, ook in zijn geboorteland. Volgens de (on)rechtbank was het veilig voor LHBTers in dat land. Dat was de theorie op papier. In de praktijk... Jumber is nu dood. Het onmenselijke oordeel ontnam hem zijn hoop en uiteindelijk zijn leven. Ik wil hem niet vergeten laten worden.
